Insignia Bank, which opened in October 2006, had the largest private capital campaign for a start-up bank in Sarasota history, raising over $25 million in capital in less than six weeks. Our branches at Lakewood Ranch and at the corner of Cattlemen and Fruitville Road feature Internet Banking kiosks and the Insignia Bank Money Discovery Area. In our Money Discovery Area, children of all ages will discover fun and educational facts about money. You can use machines that count money, both bills and coins, view rolls of uncut dollar bills along with mutilated and shredded bills that have been destroyed! Both locations have a computer that features specially selected, age-appropriate websites to continue learning through games and exercises.
