Sarasota, Fla. April 9, 2007—Insignia
Bank announces the hiring of Letitia “Tish” Scott as
Senior Vice President, Retail Banking. Scott is responsible for
Insignia’s retail banking strategy, including personal and
business account acquisition strategies, branching, internet and

Scott brings over twenty-seven years
of local retail banking experience along with extensive community
involvement to the new position, having most recently served as

Scott was SunTrust Bank’s City Executive and Market Manager
responsible for their branch markets in Venice and Nokomis.
“Insignia Bank is pleased that
Tish Scott joins our highly experienced management team,”
said Charles G. Brown III, Chairman and CEO of Insignia Bank. “With
her extensive financial, managerial, and community involvement background,
Tish is a natural fit for us and is superbly qualified to lead the
next phase of Insignia’s retail growth as we rapidly expand
our presence in Sarasota and Manatee counties.”
Highlighting the “community”
part of her role as community banker, Scott brings with her a wealth
of community interests and involvement, having served with numerous

Board, past President of the Venice Hospital Foundation Women’s
Board, and past President of the Manatee Community College Foundation’s
Women’s Board. Scott says, “I am delighted to join Insignia
Bank. I passionately believe a community bank’s mission is
to give back as much as possible to the communities in which we
live, work and raise our families.”
Insignia Bank’s headquarters is
located at 333 North Orange Avenue at the corner of Fruitville Road
and North Orange. Its primary businesses include deposit services,
