LEM SHARP JOINS BOARD OF INSIGNIA BANK
Sarasota, Fla. October 16, 2008 —
Insignia Bank announces the addition of Lemuel “Lem”
Sharp III to its board of directors. Sharp is president of W.G.Mills,
Inc., a statewide construction management firm. He received his
bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in 1973 and
immediately joined the firm. Sharp became president and co-principle
of the firm in 1989. During his thirty-six year career at W.G. Mills,
Inc., Sharp has been responsible for over 500 construction projects.
He is active in community involvement,
having served in leadership positions with numerous area organizations.
Sharp is currently on the board of directors of the Gulf Coast Builders
Exchange and is this year’s chairman of University of South
Florida’s “Brunch on the Bay” event, which provides
scholarships for area students. He continues to support the University
of Florida and is a Bull Gator.
