INSIGNIA BANK EXPANDS COMMERCIAL TEAM IN MANATEE COUNTY

Sarasota, Fla. February 14, 2008— Insignia Bank announces the hiring of Robert Laidlaw as Vice President, Commercial Lending Officer. Laidlaw will cover all of Manatee County and is based at Insignia’s Lakewood Office at 6145 Exchange Way.

Laidlaw is an experienced local banker with over ten years commercial lending with community banks. He has extensive experience overseeing small businesses loans through the national “SBA” Loan Program, managed by the U.S. Small Business Administration. Laidlaw received his bachelor’s degree from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York.

In addition to his professional duties, Laidlaw has served in a variety of positions with numerous community organizations. He is a graduate of Leadership Manatee and served on various committees for the Manatee County Chamber of Commerce and its Economic Development Council. Laidlaw served on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement – Manatee for many years, and is currently a member of the local Kiwanis Sunrise Club.
